MU CANG CHAI – KHAU PHA PASS – TU LE TRAM TAU
Duration: 3 days 2 nightS / Transportation: shuttle bus / Departure: every Friday

DAY 1: HANOI – TRAM TAU – NGHIA LO ( – / L / D )
06h15-06h30: Car and tour guide pick you up at Hanoi Opera House to start the journey to find beautiful
pictures of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields.
06h50: The next picking up point is the National convention center (Thang Long boulevard). At the end of
the highway, the car will stop for you to relax and have breakfast (if needed). Then you will continue to Mu
Cang Chai. On the way, you will stop to rest and take pictures with the green Thanh Son tea hills in Thanh
Son (Phu Tho).
11h30: Arrive at Son Thinh town for lunch. After lunch, the group continues to Tram Tau by car. On the
way, you will sit in the car and admire the Muong Lo fields stretching along both sides of the road.
14h00: Arriving at Tram Tau, the tour guide will take you to Tram Tau Hot Mineral Spring Eco-Tourism
Area. Here, you can pay for your own mineral baths in 4 hot mineral pools at different temperatures to suit
all your needs..
16h00: The group gathered on the bus to hotel check in and rest.
18h30: You have dinner at the restaurant. Free evening. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: NGHIA LO – MU CANG CHAI (B / L / D)
06h30: Check out and have breakfast at the restaurant. After breakfast, take the car to Mu Cang Chai.
09h00: Take souvenir photos with the district symbol of Mu Cang Chai right at the foot of Khau Pha pass.
10h00: Stop at Khau Pha peak with an altitude of 2100m. Khau Pha Pass in the local language means the
Horn of Heaven, where heaven and earth meet. Standing on the top, you can see the entire Khau Pha valley,
in the distance are Lim Thai and Lim Mong villages. Here, you still have the opportunity to observe
professional parachuting athletes called "Flying over the golden season" every September.
11h30: Have lunch then check in hotel, rest.
14h00: The car will take you to Cau Ba Nha area, take pictures freely with the shoe-shaped terraced fields.
Then you can hire a motorbike taxi driven by the local Hmong people. Passing the steep, small and winding
roads, you will come to the beautiful Mam Xoi terraced fields (raspberry), the most typical symbol that
makes the name of Mu Cang Chai terraced fields.
In the afternoon: You will have time to rent a motorbike yourself or sit behind a motorbike taxi to freely
explore the following suggested locations. (Please note that before going, you need to listen to the tour
guide's advice to choose the appropriate destination because time is limited. You will not be able to visit all
the suggested destinations of the program.):
● Visit the Thai village and take pictures at the waterwheel system to bring water from the stream for
irrigation and daily life of the people.
● Visit the bamboo forest with a poetic setting like in swordplay movies
18h30: Check in hotel, have dinner. Free evening. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3: MU CANG CHAI – TU LE – HANOI (B / L / – )
06h30: The group will gather for breakfast under the guidance of the tour guide. You will have time to rent a
motorbike yourself or sit behind a motorbike taxi to freely explore the following suggested locations.
(Please note that before going, you need to listen to the tour guide's advice to choose the appropriate
destination because time is limited. You will not be able to visit all the suggested destinations of the
program.):
● Mu Cang Chai Market, a place to trade daily necessities and local products.
● Horseshoe shaped terraced fields…
09h00: Saying goodbye to Mu Cang Chai town, the car will continue to take you back to Hanoi. On the way,
we will stop to take pictures at beautiful places that we did not have time to take pictures of the previous
days.
11h00: Stop at Tu Le – a land famous for its soft, fragrant sticky rice and the charming Thai girls who have
captured the hearts of countless men. The tour guide will take you to visit and buy things, especially the soft,
fragrant green rice of Tu Le at the Tu Le market area. Take souvenir photos with the district symbol of Mu
Cang Chai right at the foot of Khau Pha pass.
12h00: Lunch at Nghia Lo. After lunch, you will continue to take the car back to Hanoi. In case there are
guests returning to Noi Bai airport. The car will move in the direction of Ba Khe Intersection – Lao Cai – Noi
Bai – Hanoi Highway.
17h30: To Noi Bai airport (cost paid at the airport lobby is 50,000 VND/group parking fee for cars).
18h30-19h00: Arrive at Hanoi Opera House. End of terraced field tour. See you again!

Exclusions:
● VAT invoice
● Drinks during meals and other personal expenses not mentioned in the tour
● Round trip motorbike taxi fare to raspberry terraced fields
● Tram Tau hot mineral bath cost: adults 120,000 VND, children 80,000 VND
● Difference or additional cost of sightseeing tickets (if any) at the time you go on the tour compared to
the time you book the tour. We hope you understand, sympathize and follow the regulations.
● TIPS: $3 / pax / day
Children:
● Infants (1-4 years old): Free, but parents are responsible for all expenses.
● Children (5-9 years old): 75% of the adult price.
● Children 10 years and older: Pay the full adult price.
Important Notes:
● Documents: Guests must bring valid identification (ID card or passport) and, for children under 14, a
birth certificate.
● Health: It's recommended to bring medications for common ailments like stomach upset and fever.
● Vegetarian: Vegetarian guests should bring their own food if necessary.
● Itinerary Changes: The tour guide may adjust the itinerary to accommodate weather conditions or
other factors.
● Small Groups: For groups of 10 or fewer, the driver may also serve as the guide.
● Luggage: Due to the mountainous terrain, it's advisable to pack light.
● Homestays: Guests should bring personal items for their stay at the homestay.
● Drop-off: The tour ends at the Hanoi Opera House.
● Health and Liability: Guests are responsible for their own health and any pre-existing medical
conditions. The tour operator is not liable for any losses or injuries.
